Stephen is a travel blogger who has chosen to make this his profession. Currently, his plans are to visit the Far East of the world, has already traveled many different countries in Europe, he has also been through most of the United States, and is ready to check off the following places from his bucket list such as China, India, Japan, and the UAE.
Stephen Stepaniuk loves to find new adventures and meet new people and cultures. He’s traveled around most of the United States and to many different places in Europe. Stephen enjoys reading books on a variety of topics, watching movies, cooking, and traveling around the world, always with an open mind.
Traveling As A Career
One might think that traveling as a career is only for a select and lucky group of people, but if you get creative and follow your passion you’ll find that it is possible for everyone. The way Stephen makes his travels possible is by partnering with different travel and visitor bureaus as well as corporations that are willing to pay for him to travel and blog about the places he visits. Because traveling includes plenty of down time, Stephen enjoys learning about and cooking new foods, learning new languages, and taking photography to a new level by capturing breathtaking landscapes and scenery of some of the most beautiful places in the world.
Books and Movies
Traveling requires a person to spend a lot of time at hotels, in airplanes, and moving around so there’s always an opportunity to read a new book or watch a different movie. Stephen enjoys doing this during his travels because it not only creates gets rid of the “boring” time, but it opens his mind to new adventures and knowledge. Some of his favorite books include, A Beginner’s Guide To Paradise, Eat Pray Eat, and The Backpacker.
It is no surprise that the titles of the books relate to what Stephen does on a constant basis; travel. Some of his favorite movies include one such as, Whale Rider and Up In The Air.
Whale Rider is about a place in New Zealand where the Maori culture is portrayed through the eyes and life of a young girl. This movie offers new insight into a culture we don’t see very often here in the United States and gives the watcher a desire to travel to other places to find new adventure. The other movie, “Up in The Air” isn’t about travel but Stephen put it in his list of favorites because he simply enjoys the story line and actor George Clooney.
Motivation and Aspirations
Traveling and the travel blog industry can be daunting at times, but what motivates and keeps Stephen Andrew Stepaniuk going is the fact that he knows his life will continue to change, he will meet new people, read new books, learn about different cultures, eat, see, and experience feelings he wouldn’t have otherwise if he had stayed in one place. Though it can sometimes feel tough to be a travel blogger, he aspires to seek different places and with the planning of a new journey he is able to rid his mind of troubles and focus on getting there.
